Required Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with one weekend every 3rd weekend with holiday rotation.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Graduate of an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy Required
  • PHARMD - Licensed Pharmacist Current or eligible for a pharmacy license in the state of Georgia Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

  • Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Pharmacy Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Participation in clinical pharmacy services and education under the supervision of the pharmacy clinical staff.
  • Performs all duties of a registered Pharmacist, including Patient Focused Care clinical activities throughout the hospital to provide patients with optimal medication therapy.
  • Achievement of the Goals and Objectives set by the Residency Committee as recommended by ASHP.
  • Completion of a research project.
