About The Position

PGY2 pharmacy residency programs build on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and PGY1 pharmacy residency programs and contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists in specialized areas of practice. PGY2 residencies provide residents with opportunities to function independently as practitioners by conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experience and knowledge and incorporating both into the provision of patient care or other advanced practice settings. Residents who successfully complete an accredited PGY2 pharmacy residency are prepared for advanced patient care, academic, or other specialized positions, along with board certification, if available. Required Education and Experience Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy. Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 residency. Required Credentials Licensed by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy intern by start of position with full pharmacist licensure obtained by September 1st of residency year. Preferred Pediatric hospital pharmacy experience. Advanced degree in pharmacy. Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided. Requirements

Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 residency.
Licensed by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy intern by start of position with full pharmacist licensure obtained by September 1st of residency year.
