About The Position

The Pharmacy Residency Program Coordinator supports the administration and day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Residency Program in collaboration with the Residency Program Director (RPD), Pharmacy Leadership, and Graduate Medical Education (GME). This role coordinates residency program activities, maintains program records and accreditation documentation, facilitates resident onboarding and educational activities, and supports recruitment, evaluation, and program compliance. This role will also serve the facility as the primary Internal Medicine pharmacist which entails regular interdisciplinary rounds, medication profile optimization, patient education and teaching all types of learners. The Pharmacy Residency Program Coordinator serves as a resource to residents, preceptors, pharmacy staff, and organizational departments regarding residency program requirements, schedules, and administrative processes. This role provides patient care support to the Internal Medicine team and serves as a preceptor to pharmacy students and residents. In addition, this role supports continuous program improvement and assists with activities necessary to maintain compliance with applicable accreditation and organizational standards. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy
  • State of Florida Pharmacist license
  • Minimum of one (1) Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) Certification
  • Minimum of three (3) years acute care pharmacist experience
