About The Position

Freedom Fertility Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, is seeking Pharmacy Processing Technicians. In this hybrid role, you will assist patients in obtaining necessary medications to support their family-building journeys. You will be responsible for engaging with patients, insurance companies, and various internal departments to process orders and ensure timely medication shipment. The role is detail-oriented, with the majority of the day spent working on the computer system.

Requirements

High School Diploma, or GED.
1+ year of Pharmacy Technician work experience.
Valid MA Pharmacy technician license required by state laws.
Microsoft Office proficiency and data entry skills.
Basic math skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication).
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload for remote work.

Nice To Haves

National certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Supporting pharmacological services by processing medications, liaising with insurance companies, communicating with patients as needed.
Maintaining records by recording and filing prescriptions and orders.
Responding to requests from facility managers and co-workers, answering questions, and referring inquiries to Pharmacists.
Complying with rules, regulations, and procedures to maintain a clean and safe pharmacy.
Undertaking administrative tasks such as record-keeping as assigned by a Pharmacist or facility manager.
Handling patient calls as needed.
