About The Position

Bask is building the infrastructure powering telehealth's future—starting with an expansive, accurate, and compliant retail, speciality, and compounding pharmacy (503a & 503b) network. We're looking for a Pharmacy Operations Specialist to help ensure medication accuracy, pharmacy partner success, and operational excellence at scale. This role is ideal for a detail-obsessed, systems-driven operator who thrives at the intersection of pharmacy, compliance, and data quality—and is excited to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Requirements

  • 2–6 years of experience in pharmacy operations, healthcare data systems, or EHR/PBM environments
  • Familiarity with pharmacy regulations (NABP, DEA, state-level rules)
  • A detail-first mindset and comfort working with structured data and standardized formats
  • Experience following or maintaining SOPs and reporting systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a startup or lean team setting

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to compounding pharmacies or telehealth (preferred but not required)
  • Bonus: PharmD or clinical credentials (not required)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure pharmacy-facing data for 50,000+ compounded medications is complete and accurate—including name, strength, route, dosage, ingredients, refills, NDC/product ID
  • Identify and resolve mismatches between back-end's for pharmacy instructions
  • Maintain and improve Bask’s internal medication taxonomy to drive consistency and scalability
  • Support the vetting and onboarding of new pharmacy partners based on criteria like price, turnaround time, state licensure, medication offerings, and compliance
  • Maintain partner records and ensure ongoing documentation is up-to-date
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for pharmacy partners, routing questions and resolving minor operational issues
  • Help track and document compliance with NABP, DEA, and state-specific pharmacy regulations
  • Flag potential risks or regulatory gaps and collaborate with leadership on appropriate escalation paths
  • Contribute to documentation and SOPs for internal compliance workflows
  • Support the rollout of error and adverse event reporting tools
  • Log and track operational issues raised by providers, pharmacies, and telehealth clients
  • Participate in root cause analysis and remediation efforts for any reported incidents
  • Execute defined workflows and processes with precision and consistency
  • Offer insights to improve SOPs, tooling, or partner communication workflows
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, clinical, and compliance

Benefits

  • You’ll be joining a mission-driven team at the inflection point of telehealth transformation. If you’re passionate about pharmacy, compliance, and designing systems that save lives and make healthcare better—this is the role for you.
