Pharmacy Manager - $25,000 Sign On Bonus
About The Position
Walmart is seeking a Pharmacy Manager, also identified as Pharmacist in Charge, to lead pharmacists and pharmacy staff in providing patient care and supporting community health. The manager oversees pharmacy operations and helps ensure comprehensive patient care and high standards of service. The role includes processing and dispensing prescriptions, administering immunizations, and supporting other pharmacy programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations. It also involves maintaining effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing and signing, and appropriate inventory levels; guiding associates in customer service; overseeing community outreach; and ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements, including safety, loss prevention, and quality assurance. The annual salary range is $112,000 to $197,000. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and certain positions may include regional pay zone or complex-structure compensation. A $25,000 sign-on bonus is advertised. The listed primary location is 4807 Valley View Blvd NW, Roanoke, Virginia.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
- Pharmacy license by the job entry date.
- Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program, such as APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, or a state pharmacy association-sponsored program.
- Proficiency in working effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
- Expertise in analyzing data to improve pharmacy performance and patient outcomes.
- Competence in analyzing financial data to make business decisions.
- Capability to manage a pharmacy, including staff and operations.

Responsibilities
- Provide patient care by processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and delivering other programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
- Ensure effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing and signing, and appropriate inventory levels.
- Model, enforce, and guide associates on customer service approaches to resolve customer needs within company guidelines.
- Oversee and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging associates to serve as good members of the community.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, and overseeing safety and quality assurance reviews.
- Lead and manage pharmacy staff and operations.
