Requirements

• In-depth understanding of pharmacotherapy, pharmacology, and the practice of pharmacy.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing pharmacy practices.
• Familiarity with insurance plans and billing procedures.
• Awareness of health and wellness trends and initiatives.
• Leadership principles and effective team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in computer systems and pharmacy software.
• Attention to detail in prescription dispensing and patient counseling.
• Strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.
• Adherence to ethical and professional standards.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to providing compassionate and personalized healthcare.
• Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited pharmacy program.
• Current and valid pharmacist license in the state of Idaho or Wyoming where applicable.
• Knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, including prescription dispensing, counseling, labor budgets and other pharmacy services.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, ensuring a high level of competence, professionalism, and customer service including hiring Pharmacy Technicians and Student Pharmacists.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy management.
• Oversee inventory management, order medications, and maintain stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
• Conduct health and wellness screenings, administer vaccinations, and provide other pharmacy services.
• Implement and promote health and wellness initiatives.
