About The Position

ConnectRX is seeking a reliable and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join their innovative pharmacy team. This role is crucial for the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, working under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for preparing, processing, and dispensing prescriptions, as well as supporting the operational organization of the pharmacy. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving patient health and delivering exceptional service, with a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of customer service experience in a professional or retail setting required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Detailed data entry experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify problems, as well as recommend and/or implement effective solutions.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, including the ability to perform mathematical computations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work varying schedules.
  • Position requires long periods of standing and significant walking.
  • All applicants are required to submit to a screen for the illegal use of drugs.
  • Submitting to a motor vehicle record search, as well as meeting all requirements to operate a company vehicle.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one (1) year of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Experience with prescription or other customer record management related software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and reviewing prescriptions for accuracy.
  • Entering and managing prescription information.
  • Setting up medications for pharmacist review.
  • Assisting patients and customers at the point-of-sale with their healthcare needs.
  • Ordering, stocking, and monitoring inventory.
  • Managing general administrative tasks for the onsite team.
  • Assisting with prescription deliveries as needed, using the company vehicle.
