About The Position

The Pharmacy IT Support Technician I is responsible for the continuous operation of the Pharmacy production line and the hardware and equipment that it relies on. They will provide both technical and mechanical support for the infrastructure at assigned locations. This position is an on-site role based at our new Pharmacy Warehouse in McDonough, GA. Must have reliable transportation. This position is to work during our operating hours of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM ET, with an occasional Saturday.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of IT/Software Support.
  • 1+ years in a warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Experience using standard hand and power tools; understand good safety practices.
  • Experience using standard warehouse equipment: forklift, pallet jack, hand-truck, ladders, jacks, etc.
  • Must have a strong technical and mechanical aptitude; must be a quick learner with the ability to understand workflow capability and constraints.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Working technical knowledge of current IT protocols, operating systems, and standards.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of PCs, printers, and desktop hardware.
  • Must have access to a reliable internet connection during work hours

Nice To Haves

  • General warehouse safety awareness.
  • Conveyor/assembly line maintenance experience.
  • Associate's degree in computer science, computer information systems or a related field, experience may be considered in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on the pharmacy's automation systems.
  • Maintain and manage assets and inventory of all parts and equipment required for warehouse operations.
  • Receive, configure, and deploy new desktop and laptop computers to warehouse users.
  • Install or reconfigure appropriate desktop hardware and peripherals, printers, software, and line equipment.
  • Schedule and communicate maintenance windows for production line downtime to appropriate teams.
  • Respond to and resolve or escalate issues and requests raised via ticket system, chat, phone, or walk-up related to the automated Pharmacy production line, warehouse computers, printers, and proprietary applications.
