Pharmacy Intern - Per Diem - Methodist Hospital
About The Position
This role involves procuring, storing, and aiding in the dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies for both patient and departmental needs. The internship program aims to prepare individuals for a future role as a pharmacist by integrating knowledge of pharmaceuticals with technical and clinical experiences gained during the program. The intern will participate in the medication distribution system, prepare parenteral products using aseptic technique, and ensure the provision of quality pharmacy services. Interaction with colleagues, visitors, and other staff will be consistent with the hospital's core values.
Requirements
- Matriculating in an accredited college of pharmacy.

Responsibilities
- Participates in the medication distribution system within TJUH.
