Pharmacy Intern - Per Diem - Methodist Hospital
About The Position
This role involves procuring, storing, and aiding in the dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies for both patient and departmental needs. The internship program aims to prepare individuals for a future role as a pharmacist by combining knowledge of pharmaceuticals with technical and clinical experiences learned during the program. The intern will participate in the medication distribution system within TJUH, prepare parenteral products using aseptic technique, and assure the provision of quality pharmacy services. The role also requires interacting with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
Requirements
- Matriculating in an accredited college of pharmacy
