CVS Health Graduate Pharmacy Interns apply their pharmacy-school learning in real-world practice while preparing for a Pharmacist role. Under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader, interns complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation to build knowledge of store, district, and regional operations. Training and hands-on work develop understanding of patient safety and error prevention, quality assurance and drug utilization review, and professional standards including corresponding responsibility and red-flag detection. Interns support pharmacy operations so prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and patients receive caring service. They follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe and inclusive culture. As their tenure and readiness increase, they take on greater accountability for pharmacy management, oversight, and operations, within applicable law and under the required supervision. The role may include supporting immunizations where permitted, after completing applicable licensure and training requirements. The position requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and flexibility to work at other stores in the market when needed. This is a part-time position. The typical pay range is $23.75–$42.00. The application window is anticipated to close September 30, 2027.
