About The Position

CVS Health Graduate Pharmacy Interns apply their pharmacy-school education in retail pharmacy practice and develop the skills needed for a Pharmacist role. Under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader, the intern completes a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation, building knowledge of store, district, and regional operations, patient safety and error prevention, quality assurance and drug utilization review, and professional standards such as corresponding responsibility and red-flag detection. The intern supports pharmacy operations and helps ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while delivering caring service. The role follows standard operating procedures and best practices, communicates effectively, and contributes to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team. This can include educating patients, obtaining informed consent, monitoring and responding to adverse reactions, and collecting and documenting patient information. This is a part-time position. The typical pay range is $23.75–$42.00. The position is eligible for a range of benefits and programs, depending on hours worked and eligibility, including dental and vision benefits, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.
