  • Ability to perform health screening tests and immunizations after proper training and state-specific authorization.
  • Ability to work under a pharmacist to perform MTM services when applicable & allowed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by communicating with patients in person and via telephone, assisting with product selection, and obtaining medication prices.
  • Process and fill prescriptions using the pharmacy computer system for data entry and third-party adjudication, pulling correct products, counting and labeling prescriptions, and selling prescriptions at the Will Call station.
  • Manage inventory by updating balance on hand (BOH), ordering products, looking up Meijer codes, checking in and putting away orders, and processing vendor charge backs (VCBs)/transfers/salvage.
  • Contribute to clinical services, including performing health screening tests and immunizations after proper training and authorization, and working under a pharmacist to perform MTM services when applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
