Pharmacy Intern; 2nd Year

About The Position
This internship will be responsible for assisting in formulary management and the post-Pharmacy and Therapeutics implementation process. This is a casual position with the expectation of approximately 6-8 hours per week.
Requirements
- Second year pharmacy student
- Experienced in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
- Enrolled as a Student at an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy beginning Fall
- Finished First Year of Pharmacy School
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in English language
- Capable of solving problems effectively
- Ability to follow policies and procedures
- Competent mathematical skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous data and analytics experience
- Strong understanding of statistics
- Enrolled as a Student at the University of Minnesota School of Pharmacy
- Pharmacy experience in infusion therapies, retail and/or hospital setting
- Minnesota Pharmacy Intern License
Responsibilities
- Assisting in maintaining and updating medication information on our internal department website
- Developing medication monographs
- Performing small medication use evaluations
- Assisting with drug information questions
