A year 2 Pharmacy Intern, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, performs all accountabilities associated with compounding, dispensing, charging, and delivery of medications to the patient. All activities are reviewed and validated for accuracy by a pharmacist, per the rules and regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy, in an effort for the individual to gain practical pharmaceutical experience in preparation for licensure as a Pharmacist. The intern must be currently enrolled within an accredited school of pharmacy.
