About The Position

Presbyterian is hiring a skilled Pharmacy Resident (PGY2) for Presbyterian Northside. This Post-Graduate Year Two (PGY2) Pharmacy Residency is an advanced, specialty-focused program providing training beyond the PGY1 level. It emphasizes independent direct patient care, advanced medication therapy management, and pharmacy practice leadership. Residents will conceptualize and integrate prior experience and clinical knowledge to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes, preparing them for clinical pharmacist, faculty, or specialty leadership roles and eligibility for board certification where applicable. Requirements

  • Bachelors or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy required
  • NM Board of Pharmacy License required within 60 days of start date
  • Completion of PGY1 residency required

Responsibilities

  • Participate in an advanced, specialty-focused residency program
  • Provide training beyond the PGY1 level, emphasizing independent direct patient care, advanced medication therapy management, and pharmacy practice leadership
  • Conceptualize and integrate prior experience and clinical knowledge to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes
  • Prepare for clinical pharmacist, faculty, or specialty leadership roles and eligibility for board certification where applicable
