Requirements

Minimum education high school diploma, some college education preferred
Prior experience working with toddlers in a classroom setting is preferred.
Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
Must be patient, nurturing, and passionate about teaching young children.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Background check required to ensure child safety.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster creativity and exploration.
Create a nurturing and safe classroom environment that encourages social and emotional development.
Engage children in activities that promote cognitive and physical growth.
Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the educational experience.
Observe and assess children's development and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
