Requirements

  • High school education required
  • Active State of Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) license required
  • Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
  • Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in a pharmacy work environment or equivalent is required
  • Critical thinking skills including solid problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness.
  • Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and sometimes emotionally charged matters.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation), is an active listener, and effectively provides balanced feedback.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Ability to build an engaging culture of quality, performance effectiveness and operational excellence through best practices, strong business and political acumen, collaboration and partnerships, as well as a positive employee, physician and community relations.
  • Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development.

  • Ability to effectively lead projects from inception through implementation and assessment.
  • Effectively hire, coach and support staff develop, as applicable, as well as manage resources, performance and employee relations, and supervise within established policies, procedures and legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
  • Proficiency in CPR+, ONCO and ORCA required.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred
  • Second language is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Providing efficient and high-quality service to internal and external customers through the daily supervision of the Intake Team staff that includes hiring, motivating, recognizing and rewarding, counseling, training and problem solving.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Displays role model behavior, work ethic, and leadership skills.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
