About The Position
MercyOne Dubuque is seeking a Pharmacy Information Systems Coordinator to join their team. This part-time role involves coordinating the hospital's interface with pharmacy information technology, serving as a resource for staff on technology-related efficiencies, and representing MercyOne Dubuque to Trinity Health Corporate regarding IT needs. MercyOne is a leading hospital in the tri-states, committed to improving community health and providing comprehensive care.
Requirements
- AA degree in computer technology preferred
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required or willingness to obtain within 12 months of hire
- Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 5 years thereafter
- Information systems/PC knowledge and experience required
Nice To Haves
- pharmacy experience is desired
- Pharmacy technical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the hospital’s interface with pharmacy information technology, both within and outside of the pharmacy department
- Serve as a resource for staff members and is responsible for working with the department to develop and implement efficiencies related to technology
- Serve as a representative for MMC Dubuque to Trinity Health Corporate regarding information technology needs and functionality
