About The Position

UC Health is hiring for a full-time Pharmacy Informatics Analyst in Pharmacy Administration at the University of Cincinnati’s UC Health Business Center. This role facilitates workflow analysis to identify application development requirements and leads the identification of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solutions using a method of planning, analysis, design, building, testing, implementation, evaluation, and documentation. The analyst serves as the lead technical resource for integrating the EPIC application with other vendor systems, particularly those related to Pharmacy. They provide advanced consultative resources and EMR application support for employees using EPIC pharmaceutical-related applications (e.g., Willow IP, Willow AMB, Beacon) throughout UC Health. Additionally, this position supports pharmacy automation, including Omnicell applications and hardware, focusing on system-wide integration, workflow optimization, and ongoing operational support.

Requirements

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solutions
  • Experience with EPIC application integration
  • Experience with EPIC pharmaceutical related applications (Willow IP, Willow AMB, Beacon)
  • Experience with pharmacy automation, including Omnicell applications and hardware
  • Ability to perform workflow analysis
  • Ability to provide consultative resources and application support

Responsibilities

  • Serve as lead technical resource for the integration of the EPIC application with other vendor systems (especially those related to Pharmacy)
  • Provide advanced consultative resource & EMR application support for employees utilizing EPIC pharmaceutical related applications (i.e. Willow IP, Willow AMB, Beacon, etc.) throughout UC Health
  • Provide pharmacy automation support, including Omnicell applications and hardware
  • Focus on system wide responsibilities of integration, workflow optimization, and ongoing operational support as needed for pharmacy automation
