About The Position

The Pharmacy Informatics Manager at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California is responsible for establishing the system-wide vision and strategy for pharmacy automation and information technology. This role plans, evaluates, and provides recommendations on a broad range of hardware and software products for applicability, compatibility, safety, efficiency, and long-range integration with other systems. The manager serves as the primary liaison between the Department of Pharmacy and other healthcare professionals regarding pharmacy information technology and automation issues. This position is an integral member of the Pharmacy Administrative team and is responsible for the continual evaluation of operational and clinical efficiency initiatives and integration. The manager also provides input and guidance from an EMR system standpoint concerning any proposed operational, clinical, or policy changes. Additionally, this role involves managing a team of pharmacists and technicians who support the pharmacy department in operational and clinical initiatives related to automation technology, EMR, and other informatics needs.
