About The Position

Join Walmart’s pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting customer health and well-being in a community pharmacy. The role helps advance patient wellness and supports the pharmacy team’s customer-care, safety, clinical-care, and compliance goals. The position is based at 25108 Market Place Dr, Katy, Texas 77494-4430.

Requirements

Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
Build effective relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
Address individual patient needs.
Follow HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Bachelor of Science.
Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
