About The Position
Specialty Rx is seeking a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician for its North Andover, Massachusetts location. Specialty Rx is a long-term care pharmacy that provides pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities, emphasizing personalized care and quality pharmacy services. The position works evenings from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and every other weekend.
Requirements
- Previous pharmacy experience is desired.
- Knowledge of brand-name and generic medications.
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
- Ability to multitask and be reliable.
- Knowledge of SIG codes.
- Quick typing skills.
- Computer literacy.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the Frameworks LTC system.
Responsibilities
- Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer information.
- Generate dispensing labels.
- Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
- Clarify orders as needed.
- Triage incoming faxes.
