About The Position

The Pharmacy Courier safely and efficiently transports prescription medications and supplies to patients, healthcare facilities, and partner organizations within the Tri-State area. The role ensures timely, accurate, and secure delivery of pharmacy items while representing the organization professionally and courteously. Work primarily involves driving and making deliveries, with frequent interaction with patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff. Occasional evening, weekend, or holiday shifts may be required depending on business needs. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening and maintain compliance with company safety and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive bending, reaching, and walking.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must maintain compliance with company safety and confidentiality standards.

Nice To Haves

• Previous courier, delivery, or driving experience.
• Knowledge of the Tri-State area.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided vehicle to deliver medications and supplies.
• Verify addresses, patient information, and medication packages before departure to ensure delivery accuracy.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of deliveries in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Provide professional customer service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes and ensure timely deliveries.
• Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and related paperwork.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks, including fuel, fluids, and tire pressure, and promptly report maintenance needs.
• Follow traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company driving policies.
