About The Position

The Pharmacy Clerk supports daily pharmacy operations by accurately scanning, organizing, and preparing medications for delivery. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and an organized workflow to support timely medication deliveries. This is an onsite position at 11144 Renner Blvd, Lenexa, KS 66219, scheduled Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The position is a six-week contract paying $22 per hour, paid weekly.

Responsibilities

Accurately scan medications into the correct designated totes.
Verify that medications are assigned to the appropriate tote bags and delivery routes.
Print packing slips and place them inside the corresponding tote bags.
Close and secure tote bags once packing is completed.
Replenish ice packs and store them in the freezer.
Monitor and restock tote bags to maintain an adequate supply throughout the shift.
Maintain an organized and clean tote preparation and staging area.
Identify and promptly report scanning discrepancies, missing medications, or workflow issues to the supervisor.
Coordinate with pharmacy staff to ensure totes are prepared accurately and on schedule.
Monitor supplies and proactively replenish materials to prevent workflow interruptions.
Assist with additional assigned tasks during downtime as directed by management.
Complete assigned responsibilities accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines.
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and patient confidentiality requirements.
