Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Pharmacy Automation Coordinator, you will help staff manage controlled substance inventory and resolve issues with the automated medication distribution system so they can ensure continuous quality and compliance. Every day you will oversee the controlled substance inventory, which may include monitoring usage and investigating discrepancies. You will be expected to serve as the hospital subject matter expert and the liaison between automated dispensing cabinets and Nursing for problem resolution. To be successful in this role, you must provide orientation and training to staff and maintain accountability for all legal records associated with controlled substances.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate, upon hire
  • Two (2) years of recent pharmacy experience in a hospital setting or equivalent
  • Pharmacy Technician AZ (PHARMTECH:AZ)

Responsibilities
