The Pharmacy Analyst is a key member of the Information Services Team, responsible for supporting all pharmacy‑related systems with a strong focus on patient care impact, clinical outcomes, and quality improvement. This role involves the building, testing, maintenance, upgrading, evaluation, and implementation of pharmacy software applications across the organization. The position requires strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem‑solving skills to effectively support complex medication‑management systems. The Pharmacy Analyst works under the direction of the Pharmacy Applications and Education Manager and collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams—including pharmacy staff, other application analysts to gather input for system design, optimize workflows, and provide education that enhances end‑user productivity. Additional responsibilities include evaluating, defining, and testing new medications within the Hospital EHR, Hospital Pharmacy systems, and other medication‑related platforms to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance. The Pharmacy Analyst will provide on-call after hours support.
