About The Position

The Pharmacy Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external clients and prospects, and reaching internal health plan penetration goals through the use of strong consultative skills. This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands-on engagement. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless accommodation is granted as required by law.

Requirements

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

Ability to travel up to 30% nationally.
PBM experience of 7-10 years strongly preferred.
Experience in a client facing role strongly preferred.
EST/CST locations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Supports the strategic sales and tactical plans by consulting with key decision makers and operational stakeholders in the region.
Provides ongoing support to regional decision makers and support pharmacy benefit management (PBM) field sales team during request for proposal (RFP) processes.
Assists in the development of recommendations for outcomes-based savings, revenue opportunities and meeting internal health plan penetration goals.
