Pharmacist - Community- Long Term Contract - Yuma, AZ - Up to $90 an Hour
About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently hiring for an inpatient pharmacist for a client located in Yuma, AZ. This is a wonderful opportunity to help those in the Yuma community and make a true impact. We are currently setting up interviews, so if interested, please reach out today! The Pharmacist ensures the safe and effective use of medications through order verification; assessment of medication selection, dosing regimen, and administration; provide drug information and education; drug therapy monitoring services; and drug procurement. Works closely with medical providers and nursing staff to ensure optimal care is provided. Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance department operations or service outcomes.
Requirements
- BS Pharmacy or Pharm D
- AZ State Pharmacy License
- Knowledge and experience of pharmacy practice
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Systematic problem-solving skills
