About The Position

Regency Hospital - Florence is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. The Pharmacist plays a central role in providing compassionate care and provides clinical support for the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment. The role requires working knowledge of pharmaceutical services, including drug distribution systems, central operations, and IV admixture. The Pharmacist also helps maintain adequate pharmacy drug supplies, instructs patients on medications to use after discharge, participates in employee training and education, monitors patient drug therapy, and promotes continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

Successfully complete all educational requirements mandated for state licensure.
Hold current state licensure.
Hold BLS certification if required by the state.

Nice To Haves

PharmD, or a BS Pharm plus an advanced degree, or completion of a hospital pharmacy residency.

Responsibilities
