Pharmacist, Inpatient, PRN
About The Position
Pharmacists ensure medications are prepared, compounded, and dispensed in accordance with department policy, Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations, and other applicable regulatory requirements. They routinely assess relevant patient information, including demographic data, vital signs, laboratory values, medication regimens, medication compliance, and health insurance coverage. Pharmacists collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers to provide value-based, patient-centered care. This is a PRN, as-needed position with no set schedule at Amberwell Atchison in Atchison, Kansas. Periodic travel may be needed. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy; Doctor of Pharmacy or RPh.
- Current Kansas Pharmacist License in good standing.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of hospital experience.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
