The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for customer satisfaction, supervising and managing shift personnel and physical resources, assuring accurate dispensing of pharmaceuticals, participating in QC/PI activities, and exemplifying pharmaceutical care ideals. This role requires a BS in Pharmacy/Pharm.D. and prior experience in health system pharmacy, including computer systems applications. A minimum of 2-3 years as a Health System Pharmacist with both distributive and clinical duties, or a completed ASHP accredited PGY1 residency, is necessary. A current license (or eligibility) to practice pharmacy in S.C. is required. Pharmacy externs will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist until their license is obtained.
