About The Position

The Staff Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care activities to ensure safe and effective drug therapy through pharmacy services. The pharmacist coordinates and oversees delivery of pharmaceutical services and monitors and intervenes in therapeutics to support cost-effective care and optimum outcomes. The Staff Pharmacist fulfills departmental responsibilities within the hospital’s long-range plan, mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• Pharmacist licensed in Texas.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• One year of experience required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
