About The Position

Tris Pharma, Inc. is a leading privately-owned U.S. biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of innovative medicines. With over 150 US and International patents and several marketed products, Tris has a robust pipeline in neuroscience and other therapeutic areas. The company is growing its sales force to support its expanding ADHD portfolio and is seeking experienced sales representatives. The National Sales force consists of field-based representatives who act as a direct link between the company and healthcare providers (HCPs) and clients. This specific territory covers Ft Worth, Arlington, and the surrounding west of Dallas area, and qualified candidates must reside within this territory. The selected candidate will manage all operational aspects of pharmaceutical sales and service, including generating sales, promoting clinical and economic benefits, building relationships, educating healthcare staffs, and identifying growth opportunities. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with internal departments and external resources on sales-related issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and minimum 1 year sales experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, business to business (B2B), capital equipment, medical device and/or related industry REQUIRED.
  • Bachelors degree and minimum 2 years sales experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with documented sales success REQUIRED.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and successfully and independently growing and managing a territory REQUIRED.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex sales and technical data and to develop strategic and actionable business plans REQUIRED.
  • Experience conducting successful consultative, solutions-oriented sales calls REQUIRED.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience REQUIRED.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand and explain complex medical and scientific information REQUIRED.
  • Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record REQUIRED.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

  • Established, develops and maintains successful business partnerships with targeted health care providers (HCPs) and staffs within assigned geographical territory.
  • Increases awareness through appropriate scientific information and educational programs to medical professionals.
  • Collaborates closely with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to execute a specific and integrated action plan for assigned region to achieve defined territory and sales goals.
  • Clearly understands and implements sales and marketing goals to obtain sales objectives for assigned products.
  • Creates consultative, solution-oriented business partnerships with clients by meeting regularly with appropriately targeted HCPs and staff within assigned geography to understand and discuss company products and how they can meet identified needs.
