About The Position
Florida Power & Light Company is seeking a PGD Central Maintenance Manager based at its power plant in Vero Beach, Florida. The role includes travel within Florida to support fleet outages. The position ensures project schedules are developed and accurately maintained, performs cost accounting activities, and ensures team activities comply with applicable regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Other job-related duties may be assigned.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with combined-cycle power plants is preferred.
- An MBA and an engineering degree are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure project schedules are developed and accurately maintained.
- Perform cost accounting activities, including variance analysis, standard cost development, activity-based costing, and inventory control.
- Ensure team activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
