About The Position
Kelly Maintenance, a division of DHT Group, is actively hiring experienced Petroleum Service Technicians. This is not an entry-level position and is for experienced service technicians who know how to troubleshoot, repair, and perform under pressure. HVAC technicians with experience in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical systems, controls and diagnostics, field service work, independent problem solving, and customer-facing service calls are encouraged to apply as their experience translates well into petroleum equipment service. This role is for technicians with petroleum equipment or fueling system experience who can diagnose electrical and mechanical problems in the field, work independently with little supervision, and take pride in getting repairs done right the first time.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Professional attitude and self-motivation
- Experience in petroleum equipment or fueling systems
- Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical problems in the field
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to use industry tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to manage own workload and stay productive in the field
- Willingness and ability to lift, bend, climb, kneel, and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to handle physically demanding work safely and efficiently

Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and install petroleum & fueling equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Handle PMs, emergency calls, and field repairs
- Diagnose issues quickly and keep customers operating
- Work independently and efficiently in the field
- Complete repairs safely and professionally
- Install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot equipment with confidence
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Diagnose problems correctly instead of guessing at repairs
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Use industry tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Manage your own workload and stay productive in the field
- Work independently with little to no supervision
