About The Position

Creekside Pet Care Center is seeking a part-time Pet Lodge Attendant for their 24/7 busy 10 doctor, AAHA accredited veterinary clinic. This is a Part-Time position. Creekside Pet Care Center, part of the Suveto network of hospitals, is a full-service 24/7 veterinary hospital with onsite grooming, daycare and boarding services. They are located in the Keller/Southlake area of the Dallas – Fort Worth Metroplex and have been a local go-to veterinary clinic for 20 years. Their veterinary services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with a state-of-the-art emergency care facility. They utilize cutting-edge knowledge, equipment and techniques to care for pets and exceed expectations. They recognize the bond between people and pets and treat them as part of the family. They love pets! Pet Lodge Attendants provide care and the basic needs of animals that are being groomed, boarded or that are patients of Creekside Pet Care Center. They provide general walking, cleaning, and feeding care to boarded and hospitalized animals.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be reliable, be able to communicate clearly with staff and owners, be able to work independently, and have a passion for dogs of all sizes and personalities.
Must be friendly, organized and customer service driven.
Must have the ability to work in an extremely fast-paced work environment.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Must have a passion for animal welfare.
Available to work during evenings, weekends, and public holidays, if required.

Nice To Haves

At least one year's experience working in a dog daycare facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and disinfect the ward areas of the facility as often as is necessary.
Feed animals appropriately based on the boarding release as signed by the client and to feed according to given instructions.
Take charge and/or handle animals as dictated by boarding package and CPCC policies.
Walk boarded dogs at appropriate intervals
