PET/CT Technologist (Nuclear Medicine)
About The Position
Touchstone Medical Imaging is seeking an experienced, registered, and patient-focused PET/CT Technologist for a full-time position at its Junius facility in Dallas, Texas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The technologist performs PET and PET/CT exams, including 3D imaging of organs; prepares, calculates, and injects radiopharmaceuticals to measure metabolic activity and cellular-level tissue changes; and supports patient comfort and safety through screening, education, and monitoring. The role also includes inserting intravenous catheters and testing blood glucose and creatinine levels. Touchstone Medical Imaging is part of Lumexa Imaging, a provider of outpatient diagnostic imaging services. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, premium base pay, monthly bonus opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits program.
Requirements
- Experienced and registered PET/CT Technologist.
- CNMT (NMTCB) and/or ARRT (N).
- Texas Medical Board (TMB).
Responsibilities
- Perform PET and PET/CT exams, including 3D imaging of organs.
- Prepare, calculate, and inject radioactive tracers (radiopharmaceuticals) to measure metabolic activity and cellular-level changes in tissue.
- Screen, educate, and monitor patients for comfort and safety.
- Insert intravenous catheters and test blood glucose and creatinine levels.
