About The Position

As a Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist, you will join a dedicated team of professionals delivering quality patient care and clinical outcomes. You will perform nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT imaging, administer radiopharmaceuticals under a radiologist’s direction, and support patients throughout their exams. The role requires following established protocols, monitoring patient well-being, responding to physician needs, and maintaining professional, respectful interactions with patients, families, coworkers, and the public.

Requirements

• ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification.
• State Nuclear Medicine License.
• Venipuncture certification or permit.
• BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT imaging on patients while providing excellent care.
• Follow company-established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
• Under the direction of a radiologist, administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.
• Guide patients through exam procedures, answer their questions, and address their concerns.
• Monitor patients’ well-being during exams, recognize discomfort or medical problems, and take appropriate action.
• Respond to physicians’ questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and protected health information.
• Safeguard on-site medications according to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Respect company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or in patient portals.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respond to others’ needs.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
