About The Position

The Pet Crematory Operator works on-site at a Gateway Care Center in Sachse, Texas, providing compassionate pet aftercare services. The role supports veterinary partners and pet families by ensuring each pet entrusted to Gateway’s care is treated with dignity, respect, and attention to detail. No previous industry experience is required; training is provided. The position is full-time, scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., for 40 hours per week, with overtime required based on business needs. Compensation is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience. The work is active and involves standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate cremation equipment according to established procedures.
• Process and package cremated remains accurately and carefully.
• Create memorial products, including paw prints and keepsakes.
• Perform quality checks to ensure orders are completed correctly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work with teammates to meet daily production goals.
