About The Position

The Pet Crematory Operator works at the Agape Pet Services Gateway Care Center in Greenville, South Carolina, providing compassionate pet aftercare. The role helps ensure that every pet is treated with dignity, respect, and attention to detail. No previous industry experience is required; training is provided.

This is an on-site, hands-on position involving standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Overtime is required based on business needs. Compensation is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• No previous industry experience is required; training is provided.
• Comfort working around deceased pets.
• Ability to perform hands-on physical work, including standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.

• Successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.

Responsibilities

• Operate cremation equipment according to established procedures.
• Process and package cremated remains accurately and carefully.
• Create memorial products, such as paw prints and keepsakes.
• Perform quality checks to ensure orders are completed correctly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work with teammates to meet daily production goals.
