About The Position

Five Points Kennels is seeking passionate individuals to join their team, offering both part-time and full-time positions. The company's mission is to provide superior pet care for dogs and cats in Central Indiana. They are looking for people who are passionate about working with dogs and their humans to create better relationships. The available roles include animal care technicians, receptionists, bathers, and Playschool Professors. An ideal candidate will be passionate about dogs and not afraid of hard work. Requirements

Enjoy being around dogs.
Willingness to be around dogs all day, every day.
Acceptance of being slobbered on and covered in dog hair and other substances.
Willingness to clean up pet waste, including pee, poop, and vomit.
Ability to lift at least 25-50 pounds.
Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time (8-10-12 hour days).
Positive attitude.
Willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Ability to learn quickly.
Dependability.
Maintain professionalism and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Provide superior pet care for dogs and cats.
Work with dogs and their humans to create better relationships.
Perform duties of an animal care technician, receptionist, bather, or Playschool Professor.
Clean kennels, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, laundry, and picking up waste.
Ensure the building is clean.
Maintain efficient work practices.
Keep dogs safe.
Engage positively with all guests (pets).
Serve the dogs and have fun doing it.
