About The Position

Animal Hospital at Baldwin Park is hiring a Pet Care Attendant! Klondike Kennels is searching for someone who is enthusiastic about animals and ready to join a supportive, fun-loving team. Requirements

Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors, even when the weather is not perfect
Must be able to walk large dogs (50 lbs+)
Ability to handle a variety of breeds and sizes, from tiny house cats and Chihuahuas to big Great Danes with confidence
Must be flexible and available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, school breaks and holidays; including before, day of, and the days after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s , and Spring Break

Nice To Haves

While an animal care background is desired, a deep love for pets and a willingness to learn will go a long way.

Responsibilities

Exercising and engaging with dogs
Monitoring canine health and behavior for any changes
Observing cats for any signs they’ve mastered world domination (or just ensuring they’re content and healthy)
Maintaining a clean environment because pets love a good, tidy space just as much as we do
