About The Position

RAE-ZOR GBD is hiring a Weekend Pet Care Attendant. This part-time role is ideal for someone who loves animals, prioritizes pet safety and comfort, and thrives in a supportive, team-oriented setting. Previous experience is preferred, and candidates currently enrolled in a veterinary technician program will receive special consideration. We are seeking organized, dependable individuals who are quick on their feet and passionate about animal care.

Requirements

Knowledge of routine animal care, including feeding and walking
Comfort working with nervous or anxious animals
Excellent communication skills
A patient, caring, and compassionate personality
The ability to follow instructions carefully and consistently
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
The ability to lift up to 40 pounds and meet the physical demands of the position
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow

Nice To Haves

Previous animal care experience preferred
Special consideration for candidates currently enrolled in a veterinary technician program

Responsibilities

Clean runs and maintain kennel areas to ensure a safe environment
Keep kennel and facility areas organized and free of hazards
Clean outdoor play areas and equipment
Feed, monitor, and provide routine care for animals in our care
Observe animal behavior and health conditions and report concerns to management
Maintain accurate records and daily logs
Support the team in providing excellent care and customer service
Help maintain a clean, welcoming facility for pets and their owners
