About The Position
Polo Springs Veterinary Hospital is hiring a Pet Care Attendant to support their boarding and daycare facility. This part-time role requires a high level of multitasking, team collaboration, and is physically demanding. The ideal candidate will be an animal lover with dedication and team spirit, passionate about providing outstanding patient care and exceptional client service. Attention to hospital cleanliness and animal care is a top priority.
Requirements
- Ability to stay positive, self-motivated, and productive in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and dependability.
- A true love for animals!
- Ability to lift 20 lbs+.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to manage the occasional exuberant canine friend.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care for boarding and daycare animals, including feeding, walking, medicating, bathing, and detailed record-keeping.
- Assisting medical staff with restraining for various medical treatments/vaccines.
- Maintaining clean, organized, and sanitary kennel spaces for boarding and medical patients.
- Assisting in overall hospital cleaning protocols and procedures.
