About The Position

Northwest Exterminating is hiring a Pest & Termite Technician to work independently in the community, serve customers, and support pest-control and termite services. The role includes outdoor, route-based work and direct customer interaction. Comprehensive training is provided, and prior experience is not necessary. The position is based in or serves the Powder Springs, Marietta, and Dallas areas. The starting hourly rate is $18. The company provides a vehicle and cell phone, and describes opportunities for career advancement within a stable, family-oriented organization.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work independently and manage route-based assignments.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods; travel may involve short stops or longer routes between counties or service areas.
Comfort working in confined spaces, including crawl spaces, attics, and rooftops.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Must safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with internal and external customers and create lasting customer relationships.
Assist service professionals with pest-control services, mosquito treatments, and termite inspections.
Perform pre- and post-construction termite treatments and monitor termite bait systems.
Anticipate and address customer needs by providing tailored solutions.
Follow safety standards and regulations while operating company equipment and vehicles.
Apply pest-control products in compliance with label standards.
Partner with customer service, sales, and management teams to provide a strong customer experience.
Represent Northwest Exterminating’s values and image professionally in customer interactions.
Manage route-based assignments independently.
