About The Position

Stark Exterminators is hiring a full-time Termite Pest Control Technician to provide residential and commercial customers with service using an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach. The position is paid hourly and includes use of a company vehicle. Technicians determine prescribed treatments from inspection graphs and specification sheets, prepare treatment areas, and apply wood-destroying organism treatments to buildings and structures. They also collect service payments, answer customer questions, build client relationships, and maintain their equipment and vehicle in proper operating condition. No experience is necessary; training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current driver's license.
Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing or certification exams.
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Determine the prescribed treatment using the inspection graph and specification sheet.
Prepare treatment areas by removing and hauling away debris as prescribed.
Install termite bait stations (Sentricon) using augers and digging tools.
Trench and apply liquid treatment around exterior or crawl-space perimeters of structures.
Drill and apply liquid treatment to void spaces or blocks in crawl spaces and structures.
Apply products by spraying affected areas.
Collect service payments from customers.
Answer customer questions and describe personalized treatment solutions.
Maintain equipment and the company vehicle in proper operating condition.
