About The Position

Dodson Pest Control is seeking a Pest Control Technician to serve residential and commercial customers. The company provides intensive, ongoing training; prior pest control industry experience is helpful but not required. The role requires a strong work ethic and commitment to customer service. Technicians inspect and diagnose pest issues, provide pest management services, and apply pesticides safely and effectively in accordance with product labels and state regulations. The position also requires completing scheduled training and working toward registration, certification, and/or licensure as an applicator. Schedules may need to be adjusted to meet customer needs, including occasional Saturday work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Acceptable driving record and background check.
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to access physically restrictive areas and areas of significant height, with or without accommodation.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.

• Experience in the pest control industry.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose pest issues in residential and commercial settings.
• Provide pest management services to residential and commercial customers professionally.
• Maintain a customer-service-oriented approach.
• Apply pesticides safely and effectively in accordance with product labels and state regulations.
• Attend and complete scheduled training and work toward becoming a registered technician or certified and/or licensed applicator.
• Adjust the standard work schedule as needed to meet customer needs, including occasional Saturday work.
