About The Position

HomeTeam Pest Control Technicians provide pest-control services to homeowners while following a route and delivering customer service. The role involves diagnosing pest issues, discussing solutions and additional services or products with homeowners, maintaining a professional appearance and the condition of the company truck, equipment, and uniform, and submitting accurate service tickets. Technicians work independently, maintain their pest control license, and regularly attend pest control seminars. Occasional Saturday work may be needed to complete the week’s route. HomeTeam provides a company vehicle and gas card.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Meet the physical job requirements and safely perform job duties, with or without accommodations.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners while working an assigned route.
• Maintain a professional, tidy appearance, including the company truck, equipment, and uniform.
• Discuss and diagnose pest issues with homeowners, offering additional services or products when needed or desired.
• Maintain a pest control license and attend pest control seminars regularly.
• Submit legible, accurate service tickets to office staff.
• Stay motivated and focused while working independently.
• Occasionally work Saturdays to finish the week’s route.
